Discovery Room Art Activities
February 8 - May 24, 2020

Street Photography
Experiment with photography within the "streets" of Glenbow. Be inspired by the photographs of Vivian Maier and take your own candid photo using our camera, then print it out and decorate it as you like. Choose a self-portrait style using our Vivian Maier inspired mirror wall, or capture a unique frame within our Discovery Room walls.

In-Crowd Caricatures
Who is in your squad? Use our Maxwell Bates inspired templates to create an expressionist representation of your nearest and dearest using oil pastels. Be inspired by the social groupings found in the paintings of our feature exhibition, Maxwell Bates: The In-Crowd and create your own miniature party of distorted figures.

Explorations in Art
Put on your exploration cap and follow the clues in the latest versions of our art scavenger hunt. We have many new galleries to explore, so take your pick! Return your completed sheet to the Discovery Room for a prize. Fun for the whole family!
